Google made optimizations on its search engine results for Android and iPhone. The result pages fit perfectly to the screens of all Android-based and Apple devices and load much faster. Currently the changes are available only in English.

Apple and Google Android devices are welcomed to use the new search results optimizations of the Google powerful search engine. There is no longer need of zooming or scrolling side-to-side, because the pages fit to the specific phones’ screens. As of now developers can get a fully SIM-unlocked T-Mobile G1 with unlocked bootloader that allows flashing of custom Android builds the Android Dev Phone 1, the special device will be available to all developers registered at the Android Market from 18 international markets including US, UK, Germany, Japan, India, Canada, France, Taiwan, Spain, Australia, Singapore, Switzerland, Netherlands, Austria, Sweden, Finland, Poland, and Hungary.

The Android Dev Phone 1 is the next step by Google of making the Android OS as open source as possible. The device currently costs 399 US dollars with free shipping within US. Kogan announced Kogan Agora (Android-based smartphone)

Kogan Agora

The Australian manufacturer Kogan announced today the Kogan Agora and the Kogan Agora Pro based on the Android OS. The duo will start shipping in two months. Both handhelds pack 2.5-inch TFT touchscreens, QWERTY keyboards, and 3G support in a neat Blackberry-esque package.

A month ago the Australian company Kogan Technologies announced its intention to make an Android phone by the end of 2008 using their outsourced manufacturing line in China.
