Samsung Electronics announces a new slider phone which seems to be targeting the feminine mobile handset users. The specific mobile phone made for her is the Samsung Diva S7070, a new mobile handset that features a 3” touchscreen WQVGA 240×400 pixel display, a 3.2 megapixel camera, GSM/GPRS/EDGE 900/1800/1900 MHz network support, Bluetooth connectivity, FM tuner and an expandable microSD slot. It also has a Beauty and Lomo Effect for the camera which aids users to take creative and brilliant images. The Samsung Diva S7070 will be made available by January 2010. No word on pricing for now

I often talk over the phone holding it between the shoulder and the face and doing housework at the same time and this is really painful. I have sore shoulders and neck and I want to get a Bluetooth headset. But.. the thing is.. I no nothing about devices. I prefer pretty and net design and I searched a few WEP490 from Samsung caught my attention. It’s got nice color and cute design. But can I use this only with Samsung cell phones

Corby Supports viewing of MS Documwnts like word, excel.
We can write emails. This is a Java based Phone & not Symbian or Windows Mobile. WE could download Java applications freely available over the net.

Hi,Guys Making ur attention.i have got a new Samsung corby pro touch phone.But I am really not very happy with the features available.While a i am making a call its very its very difficult to browse through and save something becoz It locks the screen completely.But i am wondering where to deactivate this feature.i wanted my phone not to make me lock everytime as it seems very difficult to unlock every now and then.Can any one guide me Hw to control over it???? And if There are any software updates availbale????

I checked the previous post and found its java based phone and it is not hving Symbian or windows OS. Will this affect to install new mobile softwares like Nimbuzz (chat software).

Hello,

I am planning to purchase Samsung Corby Plus and i really need to know how the phone is, the features are awesome but in usage,

-the battery life and longetivity
-the message memory and can we store the messages in the memory card
- I chat a lot on the phone is the qwerty pad nice and comfortable to use in the phone
- What is the Message Memory in the phone and can the msgs be stored in the Memory card
- Can we donload appliations in the phone and if yes which format and what are the preloaded applications in the Phone.

The main reason why i was planning to go for this phone because i dint want WIFi and 3G and Corby offers tons of features (Main- Touch and QWERTY together with a minimal price)

Other than the query i have the phone seems to overall a great Phone.

I got a Samsung Corby Pro GT-B5310 recently. It is value for money with all features included. However the User Interface, Onscreen Keyboard, NO Text Selection, No Copy Paste, makes it painful.

I just purchased corby pro. It has Office Viewer,but u can not edit the office files. Not for business people. Just for people mad after orkut, facebook, myspace, palringo, picasa etc. Browser is not as per expectation. No flashlight in camera.

Hey i just got a corby pro and i liked it. do u know about the theft tracking system they have introduced in it? simple concept but very effective. U will get to know the number of a person if someone else start using it after theft. Overall a good set. Seems there is no motion sensor. wide screen and keypad are extremely good.

hey guys……..i just buyed samsung corby pro today………….i m happy for its other features…but not abt the camera quality..after taking some photos and comparing wid my friends 2 mega pixel camera mobile i felt dat.the camera quality is not good at all……….actually i was a sony ericsson user…..i dont know abt nokia….but sony ericcson has always been good in camera and music quality….anyway if u want i will uplaod the pictures taken from the camera……..regarding other things if anyone wants any help can contact me…..smartys18ster@gmail.com.

I bought my set almost 2 months back. I am very frustrated after making this choice. The phone is good for show off. Good for browsing in wi-fi mode.
It does not have a flash
does not have copy paste feature
unlock feature during call is a real pain.
Sometimes it goes on mute during a call
To answer a call during another call is easy, but to get back to the previous call, yu need to unlock, click on retrieve … Very very frustrating. The touch featre is not that great too. Cannot see anything in Sunlight.. I feel, the old key type is much much better. Dont waste money on this one..
